NHIS - The National Health Insurance Scheme is a Nigerian government initiative established to provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to the nation's citizens. Created under Act 35 of 1999, the NHIS aims to ensure that every Nigerian has access to good health care services and protects families from the financial hardship of huge medical bills.
